Nice to meet you!
My name is Svenja, and I live together with my partner and our two daughters in the lovely city Utrecht, the Netherlands. We moved here a couple of years ago from Germany, where we both grow up. Back then I began sewing and knitting to balance my work life. From education I am a geoscientist, and my days are usually packed with analytic work and logical thinking, without sufficient time and opportunities for creativity.
I like the process from the first idea to a finished project. Developing or adjusting patterns, choosing the fabrics, and sewing unique items makes me happy. I love to try new things. However, having a lot of ideas on what I would like to make in combination with lack of time leaves (luckily) enough projects for the coming years.
Jovoh was an idea. A feeling. A desire. And was officially founded in 2017.
