Dit betekent een directe impact op het milieu\/de omgeving omdat er minder energie wordt gebruikt, minder CO<sub>2<\/sub> uitgestoten en minder schadelijke stoffen gefabriceerd. Van geboorte tot zindelijkheid gooi je al gauw zo\u2019n 4500 luiers in de prullenbak. Dat is ongeveer 260 kilo afval per jaar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color\">Wolbroeken hoef je zelden te wassen. Dit komt door de zelfreinigende eigenschap van wol. De wolbroek wordt na elk gebruik uitgehangen. Zodra hij vies wordt of begint te stinken moet hij gewassen worden. Gemiddeld is dit eens per 2 tot 3 weken. Het enige wat regelmatig gewassen moet worden zijn de <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#67788c\" class=\"has-inline-color\">absorberende inleggers<\/mark> die in de wolbroek worden gelegd<mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#000000\" class=\"has-inline-color\">.<\/mark> Zij vormen het hart van de wolbroek en absorberen de urine van je kind. We gebruiken enkel milieuvriendelijk biologisch katoen en hennep. Zodra je kind zindelijk is kun je ze opbergen voor een volgend kind of verkopen aan andere ouders. De investering is groot in het begin, maar uiteindelijk bespaart het in de maanden en jaren na aankoop een hoop geld \u2013 en kies je bewust voor een duurzame en milieubewuste\/afvalarme luierperiode. Misschien nog belangrijker is dat je hiermee kiest voor een gezonde kindertijd omdat je precies weet met welke stoffen de kwetsbare babyhuid in aanraking komt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hoeveel wolbroeken en absorberende delen je nodig hebt hangt af van twee dingen: hoe vaak je wast en hoe vaak je baby plast. We raden aan te starten met minimaal 3 wolbroeken en 25 tot 30 absorberende inleggers.
