Absorbing inserts made of hemp are real suction miracles. They are put beneath a fast absorbing layer of e.g., a pure cotton liner or a cotton folding insert, but they are also great in combination with muslin nappies. The booster is 2-ply sewn and makes a slim but highly absorbing insert for newborn and larger wool covers.
