The 100% wool cover is made of high quality organic merino wool. The wool comes from European mulesing-free and organic livestock farming, and is span under fair conditions in Germany. It is dyed with vegetable dyes. The main dyes used are madder root, mignonette, indigo, yellowwood, logwood, and redwood. It must also be combined with absorbent inserts (e.g., cotton flat, hemp flat, or muslin cloth) to form a complete nappy.
The wool cover is available in the following sizes: Size 1 (approx. 4-7 kg), Size 2 (approx. 7-12 kg) and Size 3 (approx. 11-16 kg), and as a one-size cover (approx. 7-16 kg). The one-size cover is a size 3 with reduction buttons on the front and may be too large for smaller children, at least at first.
