Absorbing inserts made of hemp are real suction miracles. They are put beneath a fast absorbing layer of e.g., a pure cotton liner or a cotton folding insert, but they are also great in combination with muslin nappies. The booster is 2-ply sewn and makes a slim but highly absorbing insert for newborn and larger wool covers. Even after washing and drying on a drying rack it stays relatively soft and will not harden.

Inserts made of hemp are real suction miracles. The insert is 2-ply sewn and can be folded up to three times so that 6 layers are on top of each other. Divided into thirds along the long side, it is ideal for newborn covers (size 1), whereas folded along the narrow side, it fits in the wool covers of size 2 and 3. The wool cover is made from stretchable organic cotton jersey on the outside and is lined with finest organic merino wool. The knitted wool comes from European mulesing-free and organic livestock farming, and is span under fair conditions in Germany. The wool cover must be greased with wool fat (lanolin) before first use to get water-repellent. It must further be combined with absorbing inserts (e.g., cotton flat, hemp flat, or muslin cloth) to form a complete nappy.
The wool cover is available in the following sizes: Size 1 (ca. 4-7 kg), Size 2 (ca. 7-12 kg) and Size 3 (ca. 11-16 kg), and as a one-size cover (ca. 7-16 kg). The one-size cover corresponds to Size 3 with reduction buttons on the front and can be, at least at the beginning, too large for slim children. Please note that the weight information of the sizes can only be an estimate, as the fit depends on the stature of the respective child.
